In depth talk
In the session we go into more detail about how avalanches are triggered and give you more in depth understanding that will guide you in your decisions on how to stay safe and have more fun at the same time.
The talk still uses the HAT style, lots of images, video and simple explanations. We encourage debate and discussion, since this is a subject where one definitive view is rarely the only valid opinion.

I was in Val d’Isere at the end of January, and heard your talks – thank you. They were incredibly informative, and I was really impressed with the visual effects. Emma McDonald

Thanks Henry so much for the avalanche talk, it really was brilliant. I learnt so much that after all my years of skiing in the French Alps, there was so much I didn’t know or understand. I have already told quite a few friends. Daisy Harrison

Skills required for in depth on snow
You should be comfortable that you can ski/board safely down any pisted run. On a red run you can do good linked turns down the fall line. You should have some experience of going off-piste and be able to link some turns in soft snow. If you are not sure please call us to discuss.
