Are you interested in helping off-piste skiers and riders stay safe and have fun?
Are you a mountain professional or enthusiast who wants to stand out from the crowd and offer something different?
Do you want to build your knowledge of what causes avalanches to trigger and how to minimise your danger?
If so you might be interested in joining the HAT team as the Licensee in the resort where you are based.
We are looking for people who want to have an impact on off-piste skiers and safety in their resort. Are you interested in off-piste and helping people learn how they can stay safe and have more fun at the same time? You could be a qualified instructor looking to differentiate yourself in the resort. Or you could be an enthusiastic off-piste skier who is seasonally resident in the resort and would like to use an association with HAT to stand out from the crowd.
Do not worry if you are not yet fully trained in all aspects of off-piste safety. Our programme will help you learn and develop your skills. We will work with you to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to deliver our talks and programmes. Obviously, the more you know, the faster you will learn ab out our approach.
We are a group of like-minded people who combine a passion and enthusiasm for going off-piste. We want other people to enjoy it as much as us but also to stay safe and be able to make informed decisions. We love giving HAT talks to share what we have learned but we also know that it will build our profile and reputation in the resort and help us get more customers for our core businesses. Mostly we are skiing professionals, but all of us have a reason to want to build our reputation with resort authorities, tour operators and the English speaking skiing public.
