Tune in to World's Scariest Near Misses on UK Channel 5 this Thursday February 2nd, 8pm GMT. I'll be commenting on a series of video clips of skiers' taken in avalanches while riding off piste.

The videos in this show were taken on headcams by the skiers' themselves and other people filming them. I'll be commenting briefly on how to:
- detect avalanche danger by informing ourselves
- avoid risky situations and
- how the skiers survived the avalanches
I also comment on the HAT approach to risk management and informed risk taking.
